Lueking Earns Second SEC Weekly Honor

February 11, 2025 | Track and Field

NORMAN – Oklahoma track and field senior Olivia Lueking was named the SEC Women's Field Athlete of the Week after her school record breaking performance in the pole vault Friday at the Steve Miller Invitational, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.

Lueking, from League City, Texas, broke her own program record with a 4.52m (14'10") clearance to win the event title. Just two weeks ago at the Red Raider Invitational on Jan. 24, she set the former school record with a 4.46m (14'7.5") mark to secure SEC Women's Co-Field Athlete of the Week on Jan. 28.

Additionally, her personal-best clearance broke the Steve Miller Invitational record and positions her at 22nd all-time in NCAA history. In 2025, she ranks 20th in the world, No. 1 in the SEC and No. 7 in NCAA DI.

This accolade marks Lueking's second weekly SEC honor of the 2025 season and the fourth weekly conference award of her career.
