Patty Gasso and former Sooners Tiare Estrem (Jennings),
Alyssa Brito and
Kelly Maxwell will compete for the U.S. Women's National Team (WNT) in Brisbane, Australia in the 2025 USA Down Under Series Wednesday, Dec. 31 through Saturday, Jan. 3.
The world-ranked No. 2 Team USA squad goes up against No. 10 Australia in a four-game series held at Redlands Softball Park in Ormiston, Queensland, a suburb of Brisbane. Each game can be watched on Softball Australia TV with daily passes available for $7.99 and entire series passes available for $29.99.

The WNT roster features 16 players, with OU's three players pacing all collegiate programs. Additionally, 10 of the 16 players hail from Southeastern Conference (SEC) programs.
Brito is one of five first-time WNT members, while Jennings was named MVP of the World Games in Chengdu, China, this past summer. Maxwell was also on that roster, spinning 7.2 innings and fanning seven.
The Down Under Games mark the WNT's first games in Australia since it claimed gold at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.
