Sooners Set for Top-25 Showdown at Baylor

OPENING TIP

• Junior Javian McCollum ranks eighth among active career leaders in free throw percentage (89.5%). In 75 career games, McCollum has made 205 free throws in 229 attempts. Senior Sam Godwin is ninth among NCAA DI active career leaders in field goal percentage, making 64.2% (249-388) of his shots.

• Junior Jalon Moore tallied team highs in points (15), rebounds (8) and blocks (4) in OU's 66-62 victory against Oklahoma State.

• Against No. 21 BYU, McCollum recorded a team-high 20 points, marking his fourth 20-plus point performance this season.

LAST TIME OUT

•  Junior Jalon Moore led the Sooners with 15 points and Oklahoma earned the Bedlam victory against Oklahoma State 66-62 at Lloyd Noble Center on Saturday night. Moore was the lone Sooner to record double figures. The Birmingham, Ala., product finished 5-for-9 from the field and added a team-high eight rebounds and four blocks.

•  Up 61-60 with 1:20 left, junior Javian McCollum was fouled after a missed three attempt by OSU's Javon Small. McCollum visited the charity stripe four times in the final 30 seconds, making all four of his attempts. Senior Rivaldo Soares secured the victory with a steal and found sophomore Otega Oweh, who was fouled with two seconds left. Oweh buried his first attempt, putting the Sooners up four.

•  The Sooners received 29 bench points, including nine from Darthard, seven from redshirt junior John Hugley and five from redshirt freshman Luke Northweather. Soares finished the outing with eight points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

• Oklahoma has appeared in the AP Poll 386 times (30.2%), ranking 22nd all-time. Since the 1984 season, the Sooners have appeared in 48.5% (366 times) of AP Polls with an average rank of 12.2. OU was ranked in the AP top 15 for seven consecutive weeks before the Jan. 29 poll, marking the first time since 2015-16. The 2015-16 Sooners were ranked in the AP top 10 all season.

• Oklahoma has the third toughest remaining schedule based on future opponent winning percentage. The Sooners' seven remaining opponents have a combined 114-46 record (71.3%). Seven of the top 10 teams are from the Big 12.

CHASING RECORDS

• Senior Sam Godwin has made 63.2% (55-86) of his shots this season, which would rank third in program history for a single season behind Jamuni McNeace (67.1% in 2018) and Blake Griffin (65.4% in 2009). Junior Javian McCollum has made 93.2% (68-73) of his free throw attempts, ranking first ahead of Hollis Price's 92.9% set in 2003.
