NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma soccer team fell 2-0 at the hands of (RV) Georgia on Friday evening at John Crain Field.
The Sooners (8-4-1, 1-3-1 SEC) out-shot Georgia (6-3-4, 2-1-2 SEC) by a 13-11 advantage on the night, including a 10-4 margin in the second half, but were unable to convert on their four shots on frame. UGA held a 6-4 advantage in shots on target and turned away each of Oklahoma's six corner kicks.

Cailey England broke the program's record for career starts by making her 85th Sooner start, passing Rachel Ressler and Madeline Brem's previous high mark of 84.
Georgia scored its first goal in the 32nd minute and added its second just ahead of the 58th.
Oklahoma pressured the Bulldogs well in the final 45 minutes, holding a 4-0 edge on corners and a 10-4 shots advantage while limiting the visitor to a lone shot on frame.
Caroline Duffy made four saves on the evening.
Abigail McNulty recorded an OU-high three shots while
Hadley Murrell,
Leonie Weber and England each had two.
