Sooners Open Fall Season at Head of the Oklahoma

NORMAN – The Oklahoma rowing team begins its 2023-24 season and year two of the Sarah Trowbridge era Saturday in Oklahoma City at Head of the Oklahoma.

 

The 18th edition of the regatta will begin at 9:30 a.m. CT on Saturday, with night sprints at 7 p.m.

 

OU is slated to have four boats in the women's collegiate pair at 9:30 a.m., three in the women's collegiate single at 9:40 a.m., five entires in the women's collegiate four at 1:40 p.m. and four entries in the women's collegiate eight at 3:05 p.m.

 

The night sprints will begin at 7 p.m., with specific races times to be announced later. 

 

Fans can park in the Boathouse District for $10 and fireworks will be displayed following the night races on Saturday.
