FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Oklahoma men's and women's cross country teams concluded their third race of the season at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Friday evening.
The Oklahoma men's squad registered a fifth-place finish in the 8K with a team score of 235 points. The women's squad placed 21st in the 5K with a team score of 568 points.
Redshirt senior
Nicholas Young secured the men's squad's top finish, grabbing 17th place with a time of 24:45.2. Junior
Gabi Barrera earned the women's top performance placing 27th, clocking in at 17:45.8.

The Sooners head to College Station, Texas, for the Arturo Barrios Invitational on Oct. 13 for their final regular season race.
