NORMAN – University of Oklahoma second-year head rowing coach Sarah Trowbridge announced the Sooners' fall schedule, which consists of two competitions in September and October.
Oklahoma will open fall racing on Sept. 30 in Oklahoma City at the 19th annual OCU Head of the Oklahoma, hosted by Oklahoma City University. OU will be joined by fellow Big 12 members Oklahoma State, TCU, Kansas and Alabama. The Sooners will have a total of 26 entries across seven races in the regatta.
OU's fall slate continues Oct. 22 as it heads to Cambridge, Mass., for the prestigious Head of the Charles. This will be the first time since 2019 that Oklahoma competes in the historic regatta. The Sooners received bids for two boats to compete in the Women's Championship Fours and Women's Championship Eights.
A complete listing of times and lineups for each regatta will be announced at a later date.
