Thirteen Sooners Receive CRCA Honors

NORMAN - Thirteen members of the Oklahoma rowing program were given the 2023 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar-Athlete award, the organization announced.
Ainslee Beck (supply chain managment), Jenna Draycott (adult and higher education), Lale Edil (anthropology), Andjela Jovanovic (aviation, international business, management information systems, international studies), Emma Lazenby (health and exercise science), Andjela Nisevic (health and exercise science), Amanda Nork (biology, psychology), Riley O'Neill (history), Sadie Pilz (finance), Lillian Rector (visual communication), Anna Serven (psychology), Megan Walsh (finance) and Reagan Williams (biology) all received the honor for their achievements in the classroom.
Beck, Jovanovic, O'Neill and Pilz were all recognized for the fourth consecutive season.
The Sooners were given the second-most honorees of any Big 12 program. Over 1,000 student-athletes total made the list across all three divisions.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be in their second, third or fourth year of eligibility, rowed in a minimum of 75% of spring races and hold a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
