Eight Sooners received their seeds for the NCAA Championships as seeding and brackets were released by the NCAA on Wednesday night.

Oklahoma's eight qualifiers ties for 10thĀ most in the country, with schools like Michigan and Iowa also sending eight wrestlers to the championships.

The three-day tournament will take place March 16-18 at the BOK Center in Tulsa. The six sessions will rotate between ESPN and ESPNU, with the first session airing on ESPNU.

Finishing the season as No. 8 in the nation at 141 pounds, Mosha Schwartz earned the ninth seed at the NCAA tournament. Schwartz pieced together two comeback wins in his first two bouts of the Big 12 Championship to secure his trip to NCAAs.

Set for his third trip to the NCAA tournament, Joey Prata received the 25th seed at 125 pounds. Advancing to the semifinals at the Big 12 Championship, Prata finished in fourth place to punch his ticket to the NCAA Championship.

Like Prata, Wyatt Henson was seeded at 25th in the 133-pound bracket. At the Big 12 tournament, the redshirt freshman rose from unseeded to a third place finish after winning six straight. On his way to the podium, Henson upended No. 2 seed Kyle Biscoglia (UNI) 9-3 in the third place bout.

Returning to the NCAA Championships for the fourth time in his career, Mitch Moore is seeded 19th in the 149-pound bracket. The graduate took home third place at the Big 12 Championship and only lost to ISU's Paniro Johnson, who went on to win the 149-pound conference title.

Placing sixth in his first trip to the Big 12 Championship, Jared Hill received the 30th seed for the NCAA tournament. Less than two months since his first collegiate start, the sophomore clinched his first NCAA berth after winning three of his first four bouts at the Big 12 tournament.

At 165 pounds, Gerrit Nijenhuis earned the 21st seed for his third trip to the NCAA Championships. Nijenhuis finished in seventh place and recorded his second pin of the season at the Big 12 tournament.

Making his NCAA Championships debut, Tate Picklo earned the 18th seed in the 174-pound bracket. The Mustang, Okla. native advanced to the semifinals at the Big 12 Championship and claimed fifth place in his first trip to the tournament.Ā

At 285 pounds, Josh Heindselman also clinched the 18th seed in his weight class, marking his third seed at the NCAA tournament. The redshirt junior qualified for the NCAA Championship after defeating Michael WolfgramĀ (WVU) 6-4 in the seventh place bout.
