OU Faces Trio at Red Raider Match Play

NORMAN - Oklahoma women's golf turns its attention to the two-day, four team Red Raider Match Play event April 3-4 at the Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas.

The Sooners open competition against No. 20 Texas Tech Sunday, April 3 at 8:30 a.m. Oklahoma concludes the first day against Tulsa and battles with Oklahoma State Monday, April 4 at 8:30 a.m.

During the 2020-21 campaign, the Sooners fell to the Red Raiders 3-2 at the Big 12 Match Play event in Stillwater, Okla, before upending then-No. 7 Oklahoma State 3-2. OU opened last year's match play event with a 3-1-1 victory over Tulsa.

Mikhaela Fortuna finished with a 3-0 record and tallied 15 birdies, which tied for the second-most among all golfers. Hannah Screen finished with a 2-1 record and also earned a victory in the Bedlam match.

The Sooners will start the match play event against host Texas Tech Sunday, April 3 at 8:30 a.m. (CT) and conclude the day against Tulsa in the afternoon. Bedlam concludes the two-day match play event Monday, April 4 at 8:30 a.m. (CT).
