NORMAN – Oklahoma (16-14, 6-11 Big 12) concludes the regular season at Kansas State (14-15, 6-11 Big 12) Saturday, March 5 at Bramlage Coliseum.
The Sooners enter the clash on a two-game winning streak, earning victories over Oklahoma State and West Virginia.
Tanner Groves recorded his second double-double in as many games against West Virginia, finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Groves tallied his 1,000th career point and 500th rebound in the victory. Jordan Goldwire continued his scoring tear and tallied 16 points and added five rebounds, four assists and three steals. Jalen Hill tallied 10 points.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
- Kansas State (14-15, 6-11 Big 12) enters the regular season finale on a four-game losing streak, falling to Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kansas and Oklahoma State. The Wildcats last won Feb. 14 against West Virginia and are 9-6 at home this season.
- The Wildcats have a trio of scorers that average double-figure points. Nijel Pack is the team leader with 17.7 points per game and Markquis Nowell adds 12.6 and Mark Smith 12.2. Smith is the KSU's leading rebounder with 8.5 boards per contest and Nowell averages 5.0 assist per game.
- K-State is 19th nationally in 3-point field goal defense (29.4%) and leads the Big 12 in 3-point attempts (705), 3-point field goals per game (8.4), 3-point field goals made (243), fewest turnovers (334), and turnovers per game (11.5).
OKLAHOMA VS. KANSAS STATE TIDBITS
- Oklahoma and Kansas State will meet for the 215th time Saturday. The Wildcats hold a 65-28 advantage in games played in Manhattan. The two schools played for the first time at Kansas State during the 1919-20 season.
- Porter Moser led the Loyola Ramblers to the 2018 NCAA Final Four and beat Kansas State 78-62 to advance to the semifinal round. Mike McGuirl is the lone Wildcat from the 2017-18 squad still with K-State. Clayton Custer, who joined Moser's staff at OU, played 36 minutes for Loyola in the victory.
- Oklahoma freshman guard C.J. Noland's father, Belvis Noland, played two seasons at Kansas State. The elder Noland scored 344 points in 27 games during the 1994-95 season and led the Wildcats with 61 made 3-pointers that season. He also ranks third in KSU program history in steals per game (1.80).
- The Sooners recorded their second-largest road victory margin Jan. 18, 1992, beating Kansas State 117-76. Four Sooners finished with 20-plus points and were led by Brent Price's 28 points on 11-for-16 shooting. Jeff Webster finished with a double-double, recorindg 27 points and 11 rebounds.
- Former Oklahoma head men's basketball coach Lon Kruger played both baseball and basketball at Kansas State before eventually coaching at his alma mater. He was Big Eight Conference Newcomer of the Year in basketball and was twice named Big Eight Player of the Year honors after his junior and senior years.
LET'S PLAY A GAME
- Oklahoma will conclude the regular season at Kansas State in a matchup that will determine what day the Sooners play their first game in the 2022 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship. The Sooners and Wildcats are both 6-11 in conference play. With a win, OU would be the 7th seed. With a loss, OU would the 8th seed and play West Virginia in the first round.
