MIDWEEK STORYLINES

• No. 1 Oklahoma makes a quick turnaround following their series sweep over No. 7/8 Texas to head to Athens, Ga., for a midweek doubleheader at No. 20 Georgia.

• The Sooners and Bulldogs face off Tuesday for game one at 4 p.m. CT prior to a 6 p.m. start for game two.

• The first game will be available to watch on SEC Network while game two can be seen via SEC Network+. ESPN's Beth Mowins and Michele Smith will be on the call for both contests, their third and fourth consecutive games calling the Sooners.

• Both contests can be heard on The Franchise 2 (103.3 FM, 1560 AM) in Oklahoma and nationwide on the TuneIn app with OU play-by-play announcer Chris Plank calling the action.

• Georgia is allowing limited capacity at Turner Stadium this weekend, along with OU and UGA pass-list access.

• OU is the only unbeaten team in the country. With a 33-0 mark in 2021 and wins in their final seven games of 2020, the Sooners hold a NCAA-best win streak of 40 games. The streak is second in program history to the 41 straight the 2019 team accomplished and third in DI history. Arizona's 1996-97 teams hold the all-time record at 47 straight.

• Oklahoma's 33-0 start is the best unbeaten streak to start a season in program history.

LAST TIME OUT

• The Sooners won game one 11-1 (5), before a 10-2 (5) game two win and 9-0 (5) victory in the series finale.

• With Sunday's win, OU has defeated Texas 21 consecutive times and swept the Longhorns in six straight Big 12 conference series. Texas has not beat OU since 2014.

• Freshman Tiare Jennings had an exceptional series, going 4-for-7 at the plate (.571 BA) with three home runs and  five RBIs in her first OU vs. Texas series.

• Jennings homered in every game of the three-game set. The frosh also registered five runs scored and 13 total bases. She finished the weekend slugging 1.857 to go with a OB percentage of .545 and did not record a strikeout in the box.

• Senior captain Lynnsie Elam did her part in the box as well, going 5-for-8 (.625) with a double and a pair of home runs on the weekend. Elam slugged 1.500 in the series and finished with a .625 OB%.

• OU's trio of Giselle Juarez, Shannon Saile and Nicole May each collected wins in the circle in the series. Juarez K'ed four Friday night and allowed just one run and three hits and zero walks. Saile went the distance Saturday, striking out seven with two earned runs, three hits and six walks. The freshman May went 4.1 innings of the Sunday's five-inning shutout, allowing no runs on six hits along with four strikeouts and one walk.

A LOOK AT THE BULLDOGS

• Georgia holds a 27-11 overall record and 6-9 mark in SEC play. The Bulldogs are coming off a three-game set vs. No. 10 Arkansas that saw the Dawgs get swept (3-10, 2-5, 2-5).

• UGA has a pair of top-25 series wins on the year, taking two games over both No. 10/11 Kentucky and No. 16/18 Missouri.

• The team is paced in the box by junior Lacey Fincher (.378 BA) and sophomore Sydney Kuma (.306). Both have hit 11 home runs on the season with Fincher batting in 28 runs to Kuma's 26.
