NORMAN — One day after compiling 171 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 10 catches to lead Oklahoma to a 34-27 win over No. 11 Texas, CeeDee Lamb has been named the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week.

The junior set a career high with 10 receptions and caught three touchdown passes for the second time this season. He caught a 1-yard pass on the Sooners' opening possession, then fought past five defenders for a 51-yard score in the third quarter that gave OU a 17-10 lead. He found the end zone by breaking multiple tackles again in the fourth quarter to put OU ahead 27-17.

Lamb tied Dede Westbrook for the most receptions by an OU receiver against the Longhorns and became the third Sooner to catch three touchdown passes in the rivalry game (Westbrook and Manuel Johnson).

The Richmond, Texas, product has scored a touchdown in eight straight games (dating back to the 2018 Big 12 Championship), which is tied for the second-longest streak in school history. The record is 10 straight games by Westbrook in 2016. He ranks third at OU in career touchdowns (28), is sixth in career receiving yards (2,575) and 11th in career receptions (139).

Lamb is tied for the national lead with 10 touchdown receptions this season and ranks 12th with his 101.7 receiving yards per game.

This is Lamb's first career Walter Camp National Player of the Week award. He is the ninth Sooner to receive Walter Camp National Player of the Week honors since 2004, and the first Oklahoma receiver to earn the recognition.

Oklahoma (6-0, 3-0 Big 12) returns home to face West Virginia (3-3, 1-2) on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT.
