NORMAN — Oklahoma softball continues its fall exhibition slate on Wednesday as it welcomes North Central Texas College at 5 p.m. CT at Marita Hynes Field.
Wednesday's game will be a Pink Night, and fans are encouraged to join the Sooners in wearing pink. Live updates from the game will be available on Twitter (@OU_Softball).
Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate. General admission seats cost $7 while youth (3-18) and senior citizen (55+) tickets cost $5. Children ages 3 and under and OU students with ID are free.
OU Athletics introduced a clear bag policy and walk-through metal detectors at all home events this year, including fall softball games. More information can be found here.
The Sooners are currently 5-0 in fall exhibition play. They opened the fall season with four wins at the annual Oklahoma Softball Fall Festival: 13-1 over Butler Community College, 11-1 over Trinity Valley Community College, 10-0 over Seminole State and 22-1 over Northern Oklahoma.
Most recently, the Sooners defeated North Texas 9-3 in Denton, Texas.
The Sooners finished the 2018 season with a nation-leading 57-5 record, making their 12th appearance at the Women's College World Series. Oklahoma is the seven-time defending Big 12 champion, a run never before seen in the conference, after sweeping the regular season and tournament titles last year.
OU returns two First-Team All-Americans in senior infielder Sydney Romero and sophomore utility player Jocelyn Alo. In addition to Romero and Alo, returning All-Region honorees include seniors Shay Knighten and Caleigh Clifton and junior Nicole Mendes.
Along with 13 returning student-athletes, Oklahoma welcomes seven newcomers in transfers Shannon Saile and Berkley Faulkner and a five-person freshman class: Grace Green, Audrie LaValley, Grace Lyons, Sami Skelly and Brooke Vestal.
