April 05, 2017 | Rowing
NORMAN – The Oklahoma rowing team is back in action for its only home event this Saturday, April 8, at the Oklahoma River in Oklahoma City to host the Big 12 Double Dual.
The Sooners will take on Kansas, Kansas State and No. 5 Texas in five different divisions of racing. The schedule is split into two sessions of racing, beginning at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The squad is coming off an impressive finish at the Longhorn Invitational on March 25 in Austin, Texas. Four Sooner boats won their division in the “B” Finals, including two NCAA scoring boats in the 1V8 and the 1V4.
Parking for the Big 12 Double Dual will be available north of the Devon Boathouse, and concessions will also be provided in the Boathouse District.
Every race in the regatta will be live on Periscope from the @OU_Rowing Twitter account, and fans can access live stats on HereNow.com.
