NORMAN — The No. 12 Oklahoma men's golf team is in third place after three rounds of the Big 12 Championship. The three-day, 72-hole tournament is taking place at the par-70, 6,940-yard Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan.

The 10 conference teams played 36 holes on Tuesday after the second round was rescheduled to the second day of the tournament due to high winds on Monday. The Sooners fired a 284 (+4) in the second round and a 289 (+9) in the third to bring their 54-hole total to 881 (+41).

No. 5 Oklahoma State and No. 14 Texas are currently tied for first with a three-round 870 (+30). No. 37 Kansas is in fourth place, three strokes behind OU, and No. 4 Baylor sits in fifth with an overall 886 (+46).

Sophomore Brad Dalke is currently tied for first individually with Texas' Scottie Scheffler. Dalke started the day strong, carding a 68 (-2) in the second round and pocketing five birdies. He recorded a 74 (+4) in the third round to total a 215 (+5) through 54 holes.

Senior Max McGreevy advanced 15 spots on the individual leaderboard on Tuesday, moving into a tie for seventh with a three-round 219 (+9). After posting a 72 (+2) in the morning, McGreevy fired a 68 (-2) in the afternoon, sinking three birdies and playing bogey-free on the front nine.

Junior Rylee Reinertson is also representing the Crimson and Cream in the top 20, holding a share of 13th at 221 (+11) overall. Reinertson tallied a 72 (+2) and a 74 (+4) in the second and third rounds, respectively, on Tuesday.

Classmate Grant Hirschman showed improvement on the day, shooting a 72 (+2) in the morning and a 73 (+3) in the afternoon. He is now tied for 27th place with a 54-hole 226 (+16).

Sophomore Blaine Hale rounds out the OU lineup, sitting in 41st with a three-round 233 (+23). Hale recorded a 77 (+7) in the second round and a 74 (+4) in the third.

The final round of the Big 12 Championship is scheduled to begin Wednesday morning, and the Sooners will start teeing off at 8:45 a.m. CT from hole No. 1. Live scoring will be available on GolfStat.com and Big12Sports.com.
