OU set for Jayhawk Jamboree

NORMAN – In its second competition of the fall season, the Oklahoma rowing team returns to action Sunday at the Jayhawk Jamboree in Lawrence, Kan.

The Sooners are set to compete in four races on Sunday and seek to build upon a strong performance last weekend at the Head of the Oklahoma.

OU will begin the weekend with six boats in the collegiate women's 4+ at 11:15 a.m., while the Sooners' collegiate women's novice 8+ squad will race at 12:30 p.m.

Oklahoma will feature four boats in the collegiate women's 8+ at 2:45 p.m.

In the final event of the day, the OU collegiate women's 8+ boats will race in the 300-meter sprints at 3:15 p.m. The women's sprint race will be tournament style, featuring the top 12 boats in the head race.
