Two Sooners Finish Top 10 at Web.com Tour Event

NORMAN – Oklahoma golf alumni Abraham Ancer and Michael Gellerman both earned top-10 finishes at the Bahamas Great Exuma Classic at Sandals Bay, the first event of the Web.com Tour's 2017 season.

Ancer claimed a share of fifth place with a four-round 292 (+4). A member of the 2013 graduating class at OU, Ancer shot a 74, 71, 72 and 75 over the four rounds, respectively.

Gellerman, who was a part of the 2015 graduating class, finished one stroke behind his former teammate, claiming a share of eighth at 293 (+5). He fired a 76, 72, 71 and 74 throughout the four rounds, respectively.

“It's so much fun watching our guys being successful on Tour,” OU head coach Ryan Hybl said.
