NORMAN - No. 14/12 Oklahoma closes out its run of seven straight games in the state of Oklahoma when Wichita State visits Wednesday. OU has gone 5-1 so far during the current swing.

Kady Self hit her first career grand slam in the win. Additionally, Nicole Pendley was 2-4 with two runs scored, while Paige Parker drew a pair of walks with an RBI. Erin Miller and Lea Wodach also collected hits.

Parker earned the win as she struck out eight against one walk. She allowed nine hits, but only two runs.

OU Continues Remarkable Run in National Polls

After going 3-1 last week, OU slipped one spot in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Coaches Poll to No. 14 and remained No. 14 In the USA ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25.

Oklahoma is the only program to be ranked every week of the NFCA poll, 314 straight polls.

In addition, OU stayed at No. 12 in the latest RPI poll for the third consecutive week.

Tough Schedule for Sooners in 2016

Fifteen opponents that reached the 2015 NCAA Softball Tournament, including half of the field from the Women's College World Series, highlight Oklahoma's 2016 schedule.

Eight of OU's opponents are ranked in at least one of the two latest polls and seven more are receiving votes. Oklahoma has faced 11 of those 15 opponents so far, going 7-6 (played Minnesota and BYU twice).

Oklahoma's seven losses this season have come to teams that are a combined 145-53-1 (.732). In fact, Oklahoma has played the seventh-toughest schedule in the country (.628) so far based on opponents' cumulative win percentage (games through 4/4).
