Softball Single-Game Tickets Now on Sale

NORMAN – Single-game tickets for the four-time defending Big 12 champion Oklahoma softball team are on sale now.

Reserved seats have already sold out via season ticket holders, but general admission tickets will be available for $8 for adults, faculty/staff and letterwinners, while admission for youth ages 6-18 and senior citizens 55 and older is just $5.

General Admission seating is located in sections 101 & 104, in the bleachers down the first and third base lines and in the bleacher seating in the outfield.

Ranked No. 9/8 in the preseason polls, Oklahoma opens its home schedule March 5 with a doubleheader against Dartmouth beginning at 1 p.m. The Big 12 opener is set for April 1 when Kansas comes to Norman.

Other highlights on the home schedule include a visit from No. 14/13 Minnesota, which reached the postseason a year ago, as well as Big 12 foes Texas (April 15-17), Texas Tech (May 6-8) and Oklahoma State (May 14).

In addition, OU will be playing two games at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium on March 26 at 2:30 p.m. against UMKC and on March 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the Big 12 opener against Oklahoma State. Oklahoma's 2016 season starts on Friday, Feb. 12 against No. 14/13 Minnesota and No. 20/19 Washington at the Sportco Kickoff Classic in Las Vegas. The Sooners are also scheduled to face Lamar, Syracuse and Long Beach State in the tournament.
