Softball Adds Three Games to Home Schedule

NORMAN – The No. 6/5 University of Oklahoma softball team will be adding three games to its 2015 home schedule, head coach Patty Gasso announced Thursday.

OU has added a doubleheader against Central Arkansas on Tuesday, March 31. Game one will start at 4 p.m. and the second will follow shortly after game one's conclusion.

In addition, after having a doubleheader rained out against North Texas in Houston on March 1, the Sooners and Mean Green will meet in Norman on Monday, April 20 at 6 p.m. in a one-game matchup.

Oklahoma opens its home schedule this weekend against Missouri State and Samford in the Courtyard Marriott Tournament. First pitch Saturday against Missouri State is slated for 2:15 p.m. with a contest against the Bulldogs to follow at 4:30.

Sunday, OU opens with Samford at 12:15 p.m. before closing out the weekend against the Bears at 2:30 p.m. The first 200 fans to Sunday's contest will receive a free OU coffee mug and will have access to a make-your-own hot chocolate station.
