OU Remains in Seventh at U.S. Collegiate

NORMAN—The No. 10 Oklahoma men's golf team is in a tie for seventh place following round two of the U.S. Collegiate Championship with a 581 (+4). The three-day, 54-hole tournament is being played at the par-72, 2,017-yard Lakeside Course at the Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharetta, Ga.
No. 3 Wake Forest has a 569 (-7) after two rounds against tough competition that includes 15 teams ranked in the Golfweek/Sagarin top 50 and seven in the top 10. No. 2 Auburn sits one stroke behind the leader, and No. 4 Florida State is in third with a 572 (-4). East Tennessee State holds fourth at 575 (-1), and sharing fifth are No. 20 Clemson and No. 6 Stanford at 3 over par.
Grant Hirschman paces the Sooners for the second consecutive round. The sophomore carded a 73 (+1) Saturday, placing him in a tie for 17th with an overall 143 (-1).
Senior Luke Kwon and freshman Brad Dalke have a share of 27th place at 146 (+2). Kwon played a consistent second round, pocketing two birdies and shooting par on every hole of the back nine to finish with an even-par 72. Dalke also recorded two birdies en route to his second consecutive 73 (+1).
Sophomore Rylee Reinertson fell in the standings Saturday, recording a 76 (+4). He now sits in a tie for 42nd place with a 148 (+4). Junior Max McGreevy holds a share of 64th place with a 151 (+2).
Playing as an individual and unattached from team scoring is senior Beau Titsworth. He is currently in a tie for 85th place after tallying an 80 (+8) in the second round.
The final round of the U.S. Collegiate Championship is scheduled to start Sunday morning. The Sooners' tee times begin at 10:30 a.m. CT from hole No. 10. Individual competitor Titsworth tees off separately at 7 a.m. from hole No. 10. Live scoring will be available at Golfstat.com.
