NORMAN, Okla. – Junior Shelby Pendley added to her impressive 2014 season with one more accolade Tuesday night when she was named to the 2014 Women's College World Series All-Tournament Team.

The latest honor comes after the Rio Rancho, N.M. native was already named first-team All-America, first-team All-Region, All-Big 12 first team and All-Big 12 Defensive Team.

Playing in three games at the WCWS, Pendley hit a team-best .444 with four hits in nine at-bats. She tallied a pair of solo home runs to finish with a 1.111 slugging percentage and .500 on-base percentage.

Pendley also saw 4.0 innings of work in the pitching circle, including getting the start against top-seeded Oregon on May 31. She gave up three hits and three runs to go with three strikeouts and two walks.

With the addition of Pendley, Oklahoma has had 12 All-Tournament Team honorees over the last three seasons. That's twice as many selections as the next closest team, Alabama, which has had six.

In its history, OU has had 19 WCWS All-Tournament Team members, which ranks fifth-best in NCAA annals.
