With the win, OU ties the all-time series with Tennessee at 3-3. The Sooners are now 1-1 against the Lady Vols and have won three straight in the series.
The crowd of 1,718 was the second-largest in the history of Marita Hynes Field, trailing only the 1,728 that saw OU face Oklahoma State on May 11, 2014. It was the largest postseason crowd to see a game at the venue.
Oklahoma is now 9-8 in Super Regional Play. The Sooners have won their last seven Super Regional contests, outscoring their opponents 50-6.
Dating to the start of the 2013 postseason, OU has won 14 straight postseason games and has outscored teams 133-35 during the streak.

Junior Lauren Chamberlain went 3-for-4 on the night with two RBI. With 187 career RBI Chamberlain now sits alone in fourth place in Big 12 history.
Chamberlain's hit streak stands at a season-best six games.
Junior Shelby Pendley went 1-for-3 with a two-run on the night. It was Pendley's team leading 17thhome run of the year and the 39th of her career, eighth most in school history.
Senior Brittany Williams went 2-for-3 on the night with a solo home run. It was Williams 13th home run of the season and the 38th of her career, ninth in school history.
Sophomore Kelsey Stevens threw a complete game, striking out 11 and allowing just one run. With the win, Stevens improves to 36-7 on the year and sits alone in fourth place in single-season school history for wins.
It was the 23rd complete game of the season for Stevens who matched her season-high with 11 strikeouts. Stevens most recently struck out 11 against Texas Tech on 5/3/14.
Stevens made her 52nd appearance of the season tying the school record set by Kami Keiter (2003). It was also Stevens' 46th start of the season, second most in school history. Stevens trails only Cheryl Jacobs who started 47 games in 1980.
Junior Callie Parsons was 1-4 to extend her hitting streak to a career-best six games.
