NORMAN -- The No. 25 University of Oklahoma men's golf team continues its fall slate this week as it participates in the inaugural Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational in Fort Worth, Texas. The 54-hole, two-day event will be played Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 6 and 7) at the historic par-70, 7,204-yard Colonial Country Club.

The 12-team tournament features some stout competition, with 10 of the teams ranked within the top 50 of the latest Golfweek/Sagarin poll. All the participating schools are elite collegiate programs sponsored by Nike Golf.

“We are excited to be back on the road in one of the elite events of the year and on a historic golf course,” said Ryan Hybl, sixth-year OU head coach. “We have an older group going this week, and they are ready to get going. Colonial is a great golf course that requires respect.”
