The winner of Thursday night's matchup would play next on Friday against the winner of No. 4 Texas (49-8, 14-4 Big 12) and No. 5 Arizona State (50-10, 16-8 Pac-12) at 8:30 p.m. CT on ESPN. Thursday night's loser would face the loser between the Longhorns and Sun Devils in an elimination game on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Oklahoma is making its third straight trip, and eighth overall, to the Women's College World Series. The Sooners are 11-12 all-time in the WCWS, including a national title in 2000. A year ago OU reached the finals, but lost in three games to Alabama.

Oklahoma trails in the all-time series against the Wolverines, 12-6, though the teams have met just once since 2006. Last year at the Judi Garman Classic on March 15, Lauren Chamberlain homered and Keilani Ricketts struck out nine in a four-hit shutout as the Sooners prevailed, 2-0. The teams have met once before in the WCWS, with OU winning 2-0 in 2001.

Tickets are available for purchase on NCAA.com/WCWS or at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium Box Office.
