OU to Conclude Regular Season

NORMAN, Okla. -- The 30th-ranked University of Oklahoma men's golf team heads to Bryan, Texas, to compete in the 54-hole, regular-season-ending Aggie Invitational. The tournament, hosted by Texas A&M, will be played Saturday and Sunday at the par-72, 7,146-yard Traditions Club.

All 12 teams in the field are ranked in the Golfweek/Sagarin top 35. Teams include Big 12 foes Oklahoma State (No. 13) and Texas Tech (No. 35), as well as No. 2 Alabama, No. 5 UCLA, No. 6 Washington, No. 8 Duke, No. 15 LSU, No. 17 Arkansas, No. 20 Kent State, No. 23 Texas A&M and No. 28 North Texas.

"We are in a great field again, and we continue to prepare our guys for the postseason with this type of tournament," OU head coach Ryan Hybl said. "We are excited for the challenge down here because the golf course is always tough, and pars are good. I am excited to see the guys pick up some momentum heading into the Big 12's."

OU's lineup will feature seniors Abraham Ancer and Will Kropp, junior Michael Schoolcraft, sophomore Michael Gellerman and freshman Beau Titsworth. Junior Eduardo Castiello will compete as an individual.

The Sooners are coming off a seventh-place finish in the weather-shortened Linger Longer Invitational, held March 23 and 24 in Greensboro, Ga.

Thirty-six holes of The Aggie Invitational are slated for Saturday, with round 1 tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT from holes No. 1 and No. 10. Sunday's final round will begin at the same time. Live scoring will be available at GolfStat.com.
