WHITEHORSE, YUKON, Canada — Oklahoma's Keilani Ricketts picked up her third win of the ISF XIII Women's World Fastpitch Championship to send the USA Softball National Team to the finals of the event with a 4-2 win over Canada in the championship semifinals. The senior-to-be got the start in the circle for the U.S. and responded with five innings of action. Ricketts struck out four while not allowing a walk. Of Ricketts' 80 pitches on the night, 52 were strikes.

After the American squad posted two runs in the bottom of the third inning, Canada responded for two runs of their own in the top of the fourth. Not to be outdone, the U.S. added two more in the bottom of the fourth to seal the 4-2 win.

With the win, the U.S. advanced to the finals of the event where they will face the winner of China and Japan.
