DES MOINES, Iowa – The University of Oklahoma track and field teams resumed action Thursday afternoon at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The Sooners had three student-athletes competing in event semifinals and one in a field event final.

Ti'Anca Mock closed out her career Thursday afternoon with a 12th-place finish in the women's long jump. Mock's best attempt was 20 feet, seven inches, which came on her final attempt of the semifinal. Patrick Casey and Eric Harasyn finished in consecutive order in the men's 1,500-meter semifinal but did not advance to Saturday's final. Tre Lathan was 14th in the men's 110-meter hurdles semifinal but he also did not advance.
Friday features two event finals for the Sooners with Tia Brooks competing in the women's shot put at 5:30 p.m. CT, and George Alex in the men's 5,000-meter run final at 7:10 p.m. CT.
