OU Super Regional Set for Friday and Saturday

NORMAN, Okla. -- The NCAA has set game times for this weekend's NCAA Super Regional action including games in Norman. No. 4 OU will take on No. 13 Arizona in the best-of-three games series beginning on Friday at 1 p.m. The two teams will return to the field Saturday at 11 a.m. with an if necessary third game scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

Friday's game will be televised by ESPNU while Saturday's games will air on ESPN as the two teams battle for a berth in the Women's College World Series.

The weekend's games will mark the second time that OU has hosted an NCAA Super Regional as the Sooners enter action with a record of 48-8 while Arizona stands at 38-17. The two teams have previously met three times in NCAA Super Regional action, all in Tucson, with the Wildcats taking two of three series. Oklahoma swept Arizona in two games in 2011 to advance to its sixth Women's College World Series in program history.

Prices are $25 for reserved all-session tickets, $20 for general admission adult all-session tickets and $15 for general admission youth (2 - 12 year old)/OU Student/Sr. Citizen (55 years and older) all-session tickets. Each day of the Super Regional is considered one session and a session ticket is good for all games in one day. Children under 2 years of age are admitted free.

If tickets remain, single session tickets will go on sale on the first day of competition at the OU Softball Complex Box Office at least 90 minutes prior to the first scheduled game. Single session tickets are $15 for reserved tickets, $12 for general admission adult tickets and $8 for general admission youth/OU student/senior citizen tickets.
