NORMAN, Okla. — The television schedule for the Oklahoma Softball program at the NCAA Softball Regional hosted by the University of Oklahoma has been set today. Friday night's first round game against Lehigh at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday's game (1 or 3:30 p.m.) will be aired by the Sooner Sports Network on Cox Channel 3 and 703 HD across the state of Oklahoma. If Oklahoma advances to Sunday's regional championship, Fox Sports Oklahoma Plus will air the 1 p.m. game and if necessary, the 3:30 p.m. game that would follow.
Chad McKee will have the play-by-play call on all the games while all games in the tournament not aired on TV will be available via a free webcast on SoonerSports.com.
Fox Sports Oklahoma Plus can be found nationally on DirectTV channel 679, on Dish Network channels 445 and 9515 HD and U-Verse channels 754 and 1754 HD.
The Sooners will open Friday against Lehigh at 7:30 p.m. and will play its second round game against either Oregon State or Tulsa on Saturday at 1 p.m., with a Friday night win, or at 3:30 p.m., with a Friday night loss. Saturday will have a third game at 6 p.m. between the loser of the day's first game against the winner of the day's second game.
Sunday's championship game will begin at 1 p.m. with the game aired by Fox Sports Oklahoma Plus if the Sooners advance.
Should Oklahoma advance to Sunday's championship game, Brian Brinkley will have the radio call on KREF 1400 AM SportsTalk. Brinkley will also call the Saturday night game should OU play in that game.
