If You Only Knew ... Sixth Edition
The Sooners opened the offseason schedule on March 30 with a 3-0 win over Oral Roberts at the OU Soccer Complex in Norman.

In preparation for the spring slate, SoonerSports.com will highlight each of the players on the 2012 squad.

Some of the questions and answers will be soccer related, while others will help fans get to know the Sooners better.

The sixth edition takes a look at junior Samantha Howell. Read more about her soccer career on the right and get to know her better below:

3. Biggest Influence on your life and why ... My Dad, he always gives me great advice.

4. Strengths ... Energy, blunt, high cheek bones

5. Weaknesses ... Not a good listener, stubborn, aggressive driver.

6. Favorite Candy ... Dark chocolate.

7. Dream holiday ... National Barbeque Day ... everyone grills out.

8. Do you have any heroes? My mom, she always knows best and has successful guided me to be the person I am today.

9. Do you have any hobbies, if so, please list them ... Eating, playing outdoors, and taking long naps.

10. Favorite Movie ... Bridesmaids and The Holiday.

11. Favorite TV show ... Desperate Housewives.

12. Describe yourself in five words ...Don't Think When I Talk

13. Name three people you would invite to dinner? Celine Dion, My grandfather, and Josh Turner.

14. Tell us something that we don't know about you? I had extremely curly hair as a baby

15. In five years, I will be ...Living in Dallas and have a successful job looking to get married.

Samantha Howell Bio Brief:
Howell has started 39 of her 43 games played for the Sooners in 2010 and 2011. As a true freshman, she scored three goals and also had an assist in helping OU return to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2003. Last season, she had a career best two assists.

Howelll lettered all four years at Colleyville Heritage High School and scored 48 goals en route to four district championships. She was also named the 2009 Player of the Year by Fort Worth Star Telegram.
