NORMAN — Oklahoma Soccer (9-3-2, 3-3 SEC) had its streak of not being shut out snapped at 13 games as the (NR/20) Sooners dropped a 2-0 decision to one of the stingiest defenses in the nation in (RV/NR) Auburn (8-2-3, 4-2 SEC) Friday, Oct. 9 at John Crain Field.

(RV/NR) Auburn 2, (NR/20) Oklahoma 0
Elle Canty was just inches from putting OU ahead in the 8th minute with a shot from the left wing that hooked just wide of the top-right corner of the frame. Both goalkeepers made a save in the first half as the teams played to a 0-0 score at the break.

Auburn broke the lid in the 62nd minute with the first of two Dylan Driver goals. She added an insurance score in the 71st minute.
