ORMAN, Okla. -- Throughout the summer, SoonerSports.com will bring fans weekly updates of current Sooners competing in the numerous summer baseball leagues around the country. Fans can also access information on former Sooners playing in Major League Baseball and its minor league affiliates.

The eighth installment, along with links to each of the players' statistics, is listed below:

SUMMER COLLEGIATE LEAGUES
In the Alaska Baseball League, Steven Bruce and Casey Coyle are at or near the top of many of the Matsu Miners statistics. Bruce currently holds a 2-1 record on the mound with a 1.85 ERA. The sophomore is second on the team in strikeouts with 21. Bruce is also currently third in innings pitched at 24.1.

Coyle has earned a .262 batting average with 42 at bats, seven runs and 11 hits. The sophomore leads the Miners with a perfect fielding percentage and is fourth in the team with his .381 slugging percentage and fifth with five doubles. The Miners are currently in first at 21-15 in league play.

In the New England Collegiate Baseball League, Drew Dahlberg and Kindle Ladd are both playing for the North Shore Navigators. Dahlberg holds a .154 batting average with 26 at bats, two runs, and seven hits. Ladd has yet to make an appearance for the Navigators. The Navigators (22-20) are in second in their division and have a 5-5 record in the last 10 games.

OKLAHOMA IN THE MINORS
In Class AAA, Ryan Rohlinger is hitting well for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. Rohlinger has 11 runs in his last 10 games, including a five-game stretch where he recorded at least one run a game. The third baseman also has one homerun and four RBIs in his last ten games.

Aaron Baker was promoted to Class A Advanced in a move to the Baltimore Orioles affiliate, the Frederick Keys. Baker has yet to make his debut with the Keys.

OKLAHOMA IN THE MAJORS
Greg Dobbs finished July hitting very well for the Florida Marlins. The third baseman had a hit in four of his last five games, including a two-run, three-hit, five RBI-performance with one homerun at Washington on July 27.
