SUMMER COLLEGIATE LEAGUES
In the Alaska Baseball League, Steven Bruce and Casey Coyle are both finding early season success for the Mat-Su Miners. Bruce leads the team with 11.1 innings pitched and is 1-0 with a save and a 0.00 ERA in three appearances (one start). At the plate, Coyle is hitting .364 in seven starts with three doubles and three RBI.

In the New England Collegiate Baseball League, Drew Dahlberg and Kindle Ladd are both playing for the North Shore Navigators. Ladd has not made an appearance while Dahlberg has played in seven games, with hits in four of those contests.

OKLAHOMA IN THE MINORS
In Class AA for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Will Savage has been impressive in a starting role for the Chattanooga Lookouts. Savage has made 12 appearances, all starts, in 2011 with a 7-2 record and a 3.70 ERA. In his last 10 starts, he is 6-2 and has lasted six or more innings in nine of the outings, including his first complete game.

In Class A, Aaron Baker, who is hitting .279 with eight homers and 46 RBI with the Bradenton Marauders (Pittsburgh Pirates), was named the most valuable player in the Florida State League All-Star Game on June 18. Baker walked twice in the game and provided a two-run homer in the fourth inning to tie the game.

Other minor league notes:
- Reggie Willits has hit safely in eight of his last 10 games with 12 base knocks for the Salt Lake Bees (AAA affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim).
- Jamie Johnson is hitting .282 with three homers, 12 doubles and 25 RBI in 64 games for the Erie Sea Wolves (AA affiliate of the Detroit Tigers).

- Tyson Seng also made his debut two shutout innings on June 18 with the Brooklyn Cyclones (Class Short A - New York Mets).

OKLAHOMA IN THE MAJORS
Chris Jakubaskus is thriving in his new role with the Baltimore Orioles. He entered 2011 with nine career starts and after making his first five appearances out of the bullpen this season, Jakubaskus has made three straight starts and is 2-0 in those outings with five or more innings in each game. He earned his first win of 2011 on June 7 against Oakland and won his last start on June 19 at Washington. In those two victories, Jakubaskus combined to allow just nine hits while striking out 11 batters.

At the plate, Greg Dobbs is riding a four-game hitting streak while playing everday at third base for the Florida Marlins. Dobbs has five hits during the streak and is hitting .302 on the season with two homers and 21 RBI in 61 games played.
