SUMMER COLLEGIATE LEAGUES
In the Cape Cod League, Ryan Gibson and Drew Harrison have helped the Hyannis Harbor Hawks to a 14-6 record atop the standings in the East Division. Gibson has been solid in relief, providing three appearances without an earned run allowed. Gibson is 2-0 on the season with a 0.00 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 11 innings pitched. On June 29, his last outing, he lasted a season-high 5 2/3 innings with seven strikeouts to earn the victory over the Cotuit Kettleers.

Also in the Cape, Jordan John and Jack Mayfield have been steady contributors for the Brewster Whitecaps, which are one game back of second place in the West Division. John has pitched in five games with three starts and is 1-1 on the season. John has 14 strikeouts and just three walks in 12 2/3 innings pitched. Mayfield is hitting .245 in his 17 games played, including a four-game hitting streak that was snapped on July 4. Mayfield collected five hits and two RBI during the streak.

Finally, Max White and the Falmouth Commodores are still in contention in the East Division in the Cape Cod League. White has played well late with hits in three of his last four games. He is hitting just .221 in his 12 games played, but in his last four games, he has four hits and five RBI. White hit a solo homer on July 4 versus Cotuit to put him in second place in the Cape with two roundtrippers.
