NORMAN, Okla. — Incoming Oklahoma softball players Lauren Chamberlain and Callie Parsons will be in action this week at the Under Armour All-America Softball Game at the ESPN Rise Games in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The two are part of 30 select players invited to play in the prestigious game.

An infielder, Chamberlain is regarded as one of the nation's top hitters with 46 career home runs and a .451 career batting average. A powerful hitter, Chamberlain was walked 52 times this season while being hit by a pitch 15 times, but still managed 12 home runs in just 44 official at bats on the season. A two-time Orange County Player of the Year, Chamberlain was named the 2010 USA Softball Athlete of the Year for the Junior Women's National Team in January.

Joining Chamberlain will be an Oklahoman in Parsons. The Pryor, Okla., native hit .458 as a senior, driving in 27 runs and stealing 22 bases. A .420 hitter for her career, the all-state selection as a senior finished her career with 115 RBI, four home runs and 81 stolen bases.

The game features 30 of the top high school players in the nation. Players were selected by a committee from ESPN RISE and receive a tour of Walt Disney World, a special fireworks celebration along with community outreach and life skills training programming.

ESPNU will televise the game on tape delay with Mike Corey and Garland Cooper set to call the action. Fans can view the game on July 23 at 6 p.m. and July 24 at 5 a.m.
