Rowing in Seattle for Historic Windermere Cup

NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Oklahoma women's rowing team competes in the 25th annual Windermere Cup Regatta Saturday, May 7 in Seattle. This is OU's first invitation to the historic event.

Windermere Cup Notes

The varsity eight boat consisting of coxswain Kelsey Witten and rowers Rebecca Staff, Meghan Farrell, Sarah Kelle, Brooke Sheppard, Nicole Furmanek, Nicole Bladow, Meagan Harrell and Katie Klassen competes against No.7 Washington and Cambridge for the Windermere Cup at 1:35 p.m. CT.

The Windermere Cup Regatta is hosted by the University of Washington and attracts thousands of spectators and rowers alike to the event. The regatta also marks the opening day of boating season in Seattle.
