A LOOK AT WEDNESDAY
The 10th-ranked University of Oklahoma softball team welcomes the Tulsa Golden Hurricane Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. CT. The game airs statewide on Cox Channel 3 in Oklahoma City and Tulsa with Toby Rowland and Kenny Mossman calling the action. Live stats and a webcast of the game are available at SoonerSports.com.

A LOOK AT OKLAHOMA AS A TEAM
• Oklahoma went 5-0 last week with wins over North Texas, No. 24 Auburn, Illinois-Chicago (twice) and No. 19 Oklahoma State.
• OU out-scored opponents 30-4 last week and OU pitchers combined for a 0.82 earned run average.
• The Sooners have played one of the nation's toughest schedules to date - five opponents all ranked in the top 15.
• Seven of OU's 22 opponents have been ranked at the time of the contest.

• Hit .417 in five games last week
• Scored three runs and had five hits
• Drew two walks and was 1-1 in stolen bases
• Had three doubles in those five games
• Was also hit by a pitch twice

A LOOK AT OKLAHOMA INDIVIDUALLY
• Freshman Brittany Williams leads OU with a .431 batting average and has a team-best 22 walks.
• Williams is leads the Big 12 in on-base percentage (.610) and walks and is third in slugging percentage (.961).
• Sophomore Jessica Shults is the team leader with 43 RBI, more than half of her total from last year (62).
• Shults leads the Big 12 in RBI, home runs (12), total bases (73) and slugging percentage (1.043). She ranks fourth in hits (30).
• Shults and Williams account for 64 of the Sooners' 134 RBI and have a combined 19 home runs of OU's 27.
• Shults hit .571 in OU's two games at The Preview. She was 4-for-7 with eight RBI, one double and two home runs.
• During the two games, she combined for a 1.571 slugging percentage and .625 on-base percentage.
• Sophomore Keilani Ricketts went 4-0 last week with a 0.00 earned run average. Ricketts threw three shutouts.
• Pitched 22.2 innings, allowing 12 hits, six walks and 32 strikeouts. She allowed just one extra-base hit (double).
• Ricketts held opponents to a .143 batting average and struck out 11 against No. 24 Auburn and 13 against No. 19 Oklahoma State.
• Ricketts recorded three shutouts last week to move her career total to 18, eighth on the career all-time list.
• Her 462 strikeouts are tied for fifth on the career strikeouts list. She needs 135 to move into fourth. Ricketts averages 11.44 K's per game.
• Ricketts is second in the Big 12 in strikeouts and shutouts (4) and third in complete games (10).
• Head coach Patty Gasso is 791-254-2 (.755) in 17 season at Oklahoma. She is nine wins shy of OU win No. 800.
• With her 800th Division I win, Gasso would become the 20th active coach to reach the mark and 30th all-time.
• Gasso is 953-314-2 (.751) in 21 seasons as a head coach. She needs 47 wins for career win No. 1,000.

A LOOK AT THE SERIES HISTORY
• Oklahoma leads the overall series with Tulsa, 32-8 and holds a 16-3 advantage in games played in Norman.
• The two teams split both meetings last year with each team winning on its home field.
• OU is 25-8 against the Golden Hurricane under Patty Gasso and 7-3 in the last 10 meetings in Norman
