STILLWATER, Okla. -- In her first outdoor action on the NCAA Division I level, Oklahoma's Angel Togafau claimed a win in the hammer throw portion of the Tulsa Duels contested on the campus of Oklahoma State. Competing in the opening meet of the outdoor season, Togafau, a transfer from Golden West Community College, tossed the implement a distance of 166-3 (50.68).

Togafau was one of two Sooners in the top three as Bailey Wagner took third with a throw of 164-4 (50.09). Tulsa's Kelsey Klein was second with a throw of 165-4 (50.39).

Togafau's mark is the second-longest throw in Oklahoma history while Wagner's is the third longest. While the win is Togafau's first of the outdoor season, the junior from Fountain Valley, Calif., did have three weight throw wins during the 2011 indoor season.

Going into the sixth and final round of throws, Wagner held the lead until Togafau and Klein both passed the junior on their final throws.
