SEATTLE — One week after breaking the Oklahoma record in the indoor 3,000-meter run, OU sophomore Kevin Williams lowered his time by close to a full second Saturday evening at the Husky Classic in Seattle. Running in the sixth and final section of the 3K, Williams clocked a time of 7:56.58 to finish 17th overall and 12th among collegiate athletes.
At last week's GaReat Invitational, Williams broke the one-year old Oklahoma record with a time of 7:57.46.
