NORMAN, Okla. — OU Softball moved to 6-0 on the fall and 3-0 in its annual Fall Festival on Saturday as it defeated North Central Texas and Murray State in back-to-back games at Marita Hynes Field. The Sooners opened the day with a 8-2 win over the Lady Lions of North Central Texas before topping Murray State 6-1 immediately after the first game.
The two wins came after Friday's 10-0 run-rule defeat of Odessa College. The Sooners have outhit their Fall Festival opponents 25-10.
OU closes out the event on Sunday with a final game against Connors State at 2:30 p.m.
General daily admission for the Fall Festival is $6 with students K-12 $5 and senior citizens $4. Children under four will be admitted free of charge.
