COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Oklahoma's Keilani Ricketts picked up the win for the USA Softball Women's National Team Monday night as she pitched four innings of shutout ball in the squad's 12-2 exhibition win over Texas A&M. Ricketts struck out nine of the 15 batters she faced as the U.S. swept the doubleheader against the Aggies in preparation for the Pan American Games October 17-23 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Ricketts' American teammates gave the left-handed pitcher a 3-0 lead after four innings that saw Texas A&M pick up just one hit. After taking a 5-0 lead in the top of the sixth, the U.S. gave up two runs in the bottom of the inning before exploding with seven runs in the top of the seventh and final inning for the final 12-2 score.

The U.S. won the first game of the doubleheader 3-0 and now turns its attention to the University of Houston on Tuesday night as they play a single game at Cougar Softball Complex at 7 p.m.
