OU Men Hold Ranking for Third Straight Week

NORMAN, Okla. --The University of Oklahoma men's cross country team remains at No. 2 for the third straight week in the Midwest Region in the latest rankings provided Monday by the U.S Track and Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA). The men are also ranked No. 12 in the nation

The last competition for the men was at the Hurricane Cross Country Festival on Sept. 4, in Tulsa, Okla., which resulted in a third place finish for the Sooners. Patrick Gomez was the top finisher for the Sooners followed by Alex Munteferring, Colin Slattery, Richard Renteria, Ross Larimer and Scott Cooper.

Oklahoma is scheduled to compete this Saturday at the Adidas Invitational in Madison, Wis.
