Softball Announces 2011 Schedule

Fall Softball Starts Tuesday

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma softball team opens fall play Tuesday, Sept. 21 against Oklahoma Christian at 6 p.m. CT. The Sooners host Rose State, St. Gregory's, Wichita State, Odessa College, North Central Texas, Eastern, Oklahoma Baptist and Carl Albert for the Fall Festival, Friday, Sept. 24-Sunday, Sept. 26. All games are played in Norman and the schedule features the annual Fall Festival Sept. 24-26. Tickets for this week are $5 for adults, $2 for youth and $1 for groups of 10 or more.

2010 Softball Fall Schedule

The Sooners close out the schedule on Oct. 7 against Seminole State at 6 p.m. and host the National Pro Fastpitch All-Stars on Friday, Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m. CT as a part of the NPF's Back to School Tour.

Team NPF features several big names in the sport of softball, including former OU All-Americans Amber Flores and Samantha Ricketts, in addition to Cat Osterman, Kelly Kretschman, Vicky Galindo, Charlotte Morgan and Francesca Enea.
