NORMAN, Okla. — Oklahoma senior thrower Amy Backel was recently named the College of Engineering's Outstanding Senior in Civil Engineering. The award was presented to Backel at the University of Oklahoma Campus Awards Program on March 26 in the Molly Shi Boren Ballroom inside the Oklahoma Memorial Union.
