11:51 p.m. | Final: Oklahoma 43, Colorado 10 It's official here in Norman. Oklahoma extends the nation's longest home win streak to 35 games with tonight's win over the Buffaloes. The Sooners hit the road next week to take on Texas A&M. We'll be there bringing you the action live from College Station. 11:44 p.m. | Sooners Denied Colorado stuffed the Sooner offense on fourth down inside the 10-yard line to deny OU's attempt to score half a hundred. Though Oklahoma couldn't punch it in, credit the backups for driving the ball down the field on the Buffaloes. Time is winding down with under four minutes left in the contest. 11:32 p.m. | Yet Another Sellout As we mention the fans, SoonerVision posts tonight's attendance on the big screen -- 84,173. It's the 73rd consecutive home sellout for Oklahoma (every game of the Stoops era), a program record. 11:29 p.m. | Crowd Thinning Understandably so given the late kickoff and with the difference on the scoreboard at this juncture, the crowd is thinning out in a hurry here in the fourth quarter. We do appreciate everyone in attendance tonight and those of you staying up late at home to support the Sooners. No matter what the circumstances, you always show up. Thanks again for being the best fans in college athletics! 11:24 p.m. | Watch Winchester If you want to see someone who plays the game the right way, watch OU long snapper James Winchester. We continue to be impressed by the kid's hustle and effort on special teams. He not only starts the play at the line of scrimmage, he is often the first one down the field in coverage. Winchester made the tackle on Oklahoma's last punt, and on the previous drive he was the one waiting on the other end of the field to down the football. Again, check out the interview from earlier this week with one of our favorite student-athletes. 11:14 p.m. | Fourth Quarter Time We head to the fourth quarter with the Sooners firmly in control. Look for the OU coaching staff to give some reserves a lot of work in the final stanza. Drew Allen is now under center taking snaps for the Oklahoma offense. 11:09 p.m. | Broyles Sets Another Mark With that last catch, Ryan Broyles now holds the school record for receiving yards in a game (208), passing Manuel Johnson (206, Texas Tech, 2008). That's in three quarters of work. 11:02 p.m. | Johnson to DE Sophomore Lane Johnson (No. 87) is working at defensive end here against Colorado after switching positions from tight end this week. It's reported that senior Jeremy Beal stayed after practice to work on technique with Johnson this week. 10:58 p.m. | Landry Airing It Out Landry's 448 passing yards moves him into second place in most passing yards for a game, behind Sam Bradford (468, Kansas, 2008). It's the sixth time in OU history a QB has throw for more than 400 yards. With more than two minutes left in the third quarter, tonight already marks Jones' career-high in passing yards (previous was 418 against Stanford in the Sun Bowl). 10:53 p.m. | TD DeMarco That score is DeMarco Murray's 60th of his career (47th rushing). Murray broke the career TD record in his last game at Owen Field against Iowa State. Now, he's extending his lead in the category. Steve Owens held the record with 57 career TDs. 10:48 p.m. | Wilkinson's Little Men SoonerVision just ran a feature showing Coach Stoops on his TV show. Classic footage of legendary Sooner coach Bud Wilkinson from his coach's show (the first in the nation) illustrated OU's leadership in utilizing technology. Since game film was lacking in the early days of the show, Wilkinson would use small, wooden players on a board to explain plays and educate fans on the nuances of the game. Those "little men" are now on display in the Switzer Center.  10:27 p.m. | 200 Yards Ryan Broyles is three yards away from tying the OU record for most receiving yards in a game (Manuel Johnson, 206 against Texas Tech, 2008). Broyles' 203 yards is a career high. It's only the second time that an OU receiver has passed the 200-yard mark. 10:23 p.m. | More Fireworks Landry Jones nails a streaking Ryan Broyles to open the scoring here in the third quarter. Although Broyles was probably headed for the end zone on momentum alone, we have to give props to freshman receiver Kenny Stills for throwing a great block on the Colorado safety. The fans here behind the Sooner bench applauded Stills as he came off the field. 10:19 p.m. | Second Half After an entertaining halftime highlighted by Halloween related scores from the Pride, the Sooners and Buffs are back on the field here to begin the third quarter. It's beginning to get noticeably cooler and you'll note the Sooners have broken out long sleeves and hand warmers for the first time this season. 10:06 p.m. | Halftime Stats Not surprising considering the score, but there's quite a disparity in the stats comparison here at halftime. Oklahoma holds a 354-89 advantage in total yards, a 291-65 in passing yards and has 20 first downs to CU's four. Also worth noting, the Sooners have zero penalties through one half of play. Colorado has four. 9:57 p.m. | Catching Our Breath With all kinds of fireworks in the second quarter, it's time for us to catch our breath a bit during the halftime break. First, one more thought before we step away -- Baylor 30, Texas 22. Is it safe to assume those of you following at home had the same reaction as the crowd in attendance here tonight? There were nothing but cheers as the final of that game was posted on the video board. 9:53 p.m. | TE in the Middle With a short field after the free kick, OU continues to pile it on as we near halftime. This time, Landry Jones finds TE James Hanna in the middle of the field on a connection similar to what we saw from Sam Bradford to Jermaine Gresham in years past. It's Hanna's fourth straight game with a TD reception. Perhaps the Sooners have found their go-to-guy in red zone opportunities. 9:49 p.m. | Stoops and Safeties The Sooners have now recorded 14 safeties during Coach Stoops' tenure, including at least one in each of the last seven seasons. 9:47 p.m. | Special Teams Score Oklahoma blocks a Colorado punt and recovers it in the end zone to extend its lead to 22-3. It's OU's first special teams score (minus FGs and PATs) of the season, the first punt block since 2008 vs. Cincinnati and the first safety since Idaho State in 2009. 9:43 p.m. | Jones, Broyles Connection More good stuff from the OU communications staff upstairs... Not only was Broyles' 81-yard catch the longest reception of his career, it was also the longest completion for Landry Jones. Jones' previous best was a 67-yard pass to DeMarco Murray against Texas A&M in 2009. Broyles 127 yards so far in the first half marks his seventh game of over 100-yards receiving this season and the 14th of his career. Broyles is one game away from tying Mark Clayton's records for most 100-yard games in a season (8) and in a career (15). 9:39 p.m. | We're in the Game Also a theme at home games this year, the SoonerSports.com sideline crew seems to attract colliding players and wayward passes. We've had to sacrifice ourselves to protect the computer more than once this season, including a couple plays ago as a Sooner blocker sent a Colorado defender into the bench area. Proof again that we're right here on the field bringing you closer to the action than ever... You're welcome. 9:35 p.m. | Defensive Statement It's been somewhat of a theme during home games this season -- when the defense gives up points, they respond the next drive with a bit of chip on their shoulder. Coach Venables's bunch gets off the field in a hurry with a quick three-and-out and the Sooner offense is back to work. 9:32 p.m. | Broyles Breaks Loose As quickly as the Buffs score, OU gets the points right back as Ryan Broyles took a pass from Landry Jones, slipped a tackle and dashed 81 yards for his second score of the night. It's the longest reception of Broyles' career, bettering his 77-yard catch at Washington in 2008. It doesn't appear the bum ankle is bothering Broyles one bit tonight after it clearly limited him last week. 9:26 p.m. | Buffs on the Board Colorado moved the ball on the Sooners this last drive, but credit the defense for buckling down to hold the Buffaloes to a field goal. Aric Goodman drilled a 40-yarder to make the score OU 13, CU 3. 9:22 p.m. | Rare Receiver A great note on Broyles from the OU communications staff -- with 108 points this season, Broyles is the first wide receiver in OU history to lead the team in scoring (stats tracked for 72 seasons). Obviously receivers didn't have as many scoring opportunities during some of the Sooners' more run-oriented eras, but still pretty impressive considering the history of this program and the proficient offenses Oklahoma has had. 9:16 p.m. | Jones to Broyles Landry Jones finds his favorite target Ryan Broyles for OU's first touchdown of the night. Broyles moves into sole possession of second place on the Oklahoma career touchdown receptions list with 27. Broyles now trails only Mark Clayton, who had 31 TD catches during his Sooner career. 9:11 p.m. | Hands Up While they haven't gotten to CU quarterback Cody Hawkins just yet, credit the Sooner defense for getting their hands up in the passing lanes. LBs Tom Wort and Travis Lewis have both recorded PBUs already by batting balls out of the air. That said, it's also important to recognize the defensive line for getting penetration and allowing those behind them to read the QBs eyes. 9:04 p.m. | Sooner Memories Sticking with the 1985 theme, SoonerVision just recognized Vincie Morrison from Mustang, Okla., up on the big screen. Morrison's story about skipping work to attend the 1985 OU-Nebraska game inspired the design of this week's game ticket. Read the entire story and more great Sooner Memories here. 8:59 p.m. | OU Honors 1985 Sooners The OU Athletics Department honored the 1985 National Championship team here at the break between the first and second quarter. It's the 25th anniversary of OU's sixth national title. Coach Switzer and members of the team received a rousing welcome from the crowd. View select video from the season here. 8:53 p.m. | Hello? We have to make a quick observation from down here on the sideline that struck us as a little funny. When the defensive ends come off the field, they head for the phone to talk with Coach Wright up in the press box. Coach Wright rings down, Jeremy Beal picks it up and asks "hello?". Wonder who else Beal thinks might be on the phone? If you missed it, Beal had roommates Pryce Macon and Adrian Taylor as guests on his video series this week. 8:46 p.m. | First Career Start True freshman RB Roy Finch made his first career start against Colorado. Thirteen true freshmen have played for Oklahoma this season, with five earning starts (CB Aaron Colvin, S Tony Jefferson, FB Trey Millard, WR Kenny Stills and Finch). 8:44 p.m. | Field Goal Jimmy Stevens hits the field goal and the Sooners are up, 3-0, here early on Colorado with 6:08 remaining in the first quarter. 8:32 p.m. | Finch, Winchester Oklahoma's first offensive play of the game goes to freshman running back Roy Finch for a 16-yard gain. The drive stalls and OU returns the ball to Colorado. Long snapper and special teams standout James Winchester delivers the stop. Winchester has made quite a name for himself on special teams with three fumbles recoveries in three key games. Check out his interview. 8:21 p.m. | Let's Get Started We're just about to get it started here at Owen Field. The Sooners will kick to Colorado to begin the game. The Buffs' offense should start in front of the student section driving to the south. 8:17 p.m. | Intro Video The stadium boards have gone dark as anticipation builds for the team intro video. It goes off flawlessly and the crowd roared when Sam Bradford brought up the final "There's Only One Oklahoma!". The Sooners have taken the field, CU was just behind and the crowd is now roaring "Boomer, Sooner" back and forth. 8:07 p.m. | CU (Later) Buffs As custom, the Pride of Oklahoma turned to the southeast corner of the stadium and saluted the Colorado fans in attendance with their fight song. That could be the last time we hear CU's fight song for a long time as the Buffs depart for the Pac 10 next season. This will mark the 59th game in the OU-CU series dating back to 1912. 8:03 p.m. | Here Comes the Pride The Pride of Oklahoma just began its pre-game routine. The student section is waving crimson shakers that were placed in their seats before the game. The weather is just about perfect in Norman tonight with clear skies, light wind and temps in the low 70s. By the fourth quarter, temps will slide into the upper 50s. 7:58 p.m. | Teams Clear the Field Dan Hawkins and the CU coaching staff just led the Buffs back to the visiting team locker room. Coach Stoops and the Sooners have massed at midfield and have the fans jumping here tonight. 7:52 p.m. | 176,000 Sooner Fans Thursday evening, a Sooner fan pushed the official OU Athletics Department Facebook page past the 175,000 mark. The Sooners maintain the largest fan page of any organization in the state and one of the largest college athletics pages in the nation. Earlier this month, the OU Athletics Department was the first college program to launch its own social commerce app. Sooner fans browse official OU merchandise, share with friends and support the program without leaving Facebook. 7:42 p.m. | Warming Up The remainder of Colorado's team just trotted past OU's bench to the north end of the field for warmups. The Sooners are already on the south end of the field performing their stretching routine. We're roughly 37 minutes from kickoff. 7:33 p.m. | 1985 Championship Team Oklahoma's sixth national championship team, the 1985 Sooners, are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their title season this weekend. Coaches and players from the team gathered for a reunion in Norman last night. The team will be honored tonight during the OU-Colorado game at Owen Field. Check the video. 7:31 p.m. | Congratulations TU Just a quick tip of the hat from the Sooners to the University of Tulsa. TU won perhaps the biggest football game in the program's history with a 28-27 victory in South Bend against Notre Dame. 7:26 p.m. | Sooners Warming Up Below is a quick photo from Owen Field as the Sooner defensive line warms up prior to the Colorado game. Kick is slated for 8:20 p.m. Central with the game televised nationally on ESPN2.  7:19 p.m. | Fans in Costume With the game between the Sooners and Colorado here on October 30, the OU Athletics Department encouraged Sooner fans to come dressed as their favorite OU head football coach (past or present). The SoonerVision cameras are already scanning the crowd for the best costumes.
