Last season, Gasso's squad went 41-16 and won their fourth Big 12 regular season title. The Sooners won the regular season with a 14-4 mark. The squad produced a first team All-American in Amber Flores and a second team selection in Samantha Ricketts. The Sooners also had four players named NFCA All-Central Region – Flores, Ricketts, D.J. Mathis and Lindsey Vandever. OU placed eight players on the All-Big 12 teams.
For the fall season, the Sooners return 12 letterwinners from a year ago, including 2009 Big 12 Player of the Year Flores. Oklahoma welcomes four newcomers, including Keilani Ricketts from San Jose, Calif. Ricketts is the younger sister of former All-American Samantha Ricketts. Oklahoma will release its 2010 schedule and roster later this year.
