NORMAN, Okla. - As a bonus to OU softball fans, SoonerSports.com will provide a wrap-up of former All-American Samantha Ricketts' season with the Akron Racers of National Pro Fastpitch this summer. Ricketts joins a tradition-rich line of former Sooners in the National Pro Fastpitch ranks.

The Akron Racers swept the Philadelphia Force in a five-game series last week.  In the fourth game of the series Ricketts had a hit and drove in her second career run in just one at bat.

The fifth game of the series saw Ricketts pick up two additional hits while driving in another run. Ricketts also reached base with a walk in the 8-0 victory on Sunday.

This week the Racers take on the USSSA Pride in a five-game series that runs through July 19.
