NORMAN, Okla. - As a bonus to OU softball fans, SoonerSports.com will provide a wrap-up of former All-American Samantha Ricketts' season with the Akron Racers of National Pro Fastpitch this summer. Ricketts joins a tradition-rich line of former Sooners in the National Pro Fastpitch ranks.

Ricketts and the Racers started their season on June 3. Ricketts drew a walk against United States Olympian and Rockford Thunder pitcher Cat Osterman on opening day and was issued a second walk from Osterman on June 6th. Early in the season, the Racers are 2-3 on the year.
